What do all of the branches do?

The three branches of government serve distinct functions: the legislative branch, primarily composed of Congress, is responsible for making laws; the executive branch, led by the President, enforces and implements those laws; and the judicial branch, consisting of the court system, interprets laws and ensures they align with the Constitution. This system of checks and balances enables each branch to monitor and limit the powers of the others, ensuring no single branch becomes too powerful.
