What is the volume of a hexagon?

It is a solid shape with six faces. There are seven topologically distinct convex shapes and three concave ones. The faces can be triangles, quadrilaterals or pentagonal and the number of edges can range from 9 to 12. The number of vertices is 4 fewer than the number of edges. There is no single formula for calculating its volume.
