In order to answer that, I'd have to know the relationship between angle-2 and 'x'.

A drawing or a sketch would be a great way to explain that, if you had one. In fact,

if you'll take another quick look in the book or the homework sheet that you copied

the question from, I may be way out of line, but I'm guessing there's a little sketch
