The age of consent in Louisiana is 17. But, if one person is between 15 and 17 and the other is between 17 and 19, it's a misdemeanor. UNLESS, the difference between the two people's ages is greater than 2 years. This is just with sex, if you're just dating and not having sex then it would be up to the parents of the girl to decide if she could date someone that's 18.
