How bad do IVs hurt?

They hurt A LOT! It seems like a shot at first, but it hurts EVEN MORE. It feels like an incredibly sharp pin is going through you. It hurts a lot because it goes through your vain so the medicine can flow to your vain instead of having to drink it.
