Wow, I'm jealous! Bengals are beautiful!
You should probably ask your vet anything about your pet; not random strangers on the internet. You wouldn't want any bad advice for your kitty! But, whatever she/he likes, I suppose.
Answer:
Bengals, just like any other cat, are carnivores. They are strict carnivores, so get all their nutrients from meat. Premium cat foods are high in Protein and Fat, and because cats are strict carnivores, they use these two nutrients as their primary source of energy. Be sure to look at the ingredients - The best cat foods are the ones with a very high named meat content (labeled as Chicken, Turkey, Rabbit, Lamb, Tuna, etc.) as the FIRST, or first three, ingredients.
It is advisable to stay away from brands that include Corn, Wheat, Cereals, Soy and various Sugars in their foods - cats have difficulty in digesting these and do not provide any nutritional value to the cat whatsoever. Wet food with these specifications are much easier to find than in dry food.
I know a few cat owners that have Bengals, and they feed a complete Raw diet. Raw diets are thought to be the best diet as they are closest to what a cat would eat in the outside world. Also, the owner has complete control on what goes into the food - no cheap fillers or additives - just fresh, clean, meat. The only downside to a raw diet, however, is it requires a lot of research to ensure the diet includes everything a cat needs.
