If you are getting your drivers license for the first tine or your license has expired, you will need your social security card, proof of your identity (for example, birth certificate) and two documents which show your current residence (such as two utility bills in your name mailed to your current address). If you are renewing a valid license, you do not need those documants, just your current license.
