Yes, he irrefutably was. I've no idea why anyone would try to suggest that he was not. Saying there is "no evidence" is an obvious lie, quite intentional as well. He was even photographed more than once wearing his Freemasonic regalia. So there's no doubt whatsoever that he was indeed a Freemason. He owes his success of his dubious and damaging theories to them. The time that he spent in "splendid isolation" was at the lodge, where they put up with his crazy theories, and supported him. And outside the lodge, he was not well received professionally, but rightly criticized.
