How do you cure squirrel fur?

Make sure you've removed all the meat and cartilage etc. from the fur then hang it up stretched out as far you can get it on a board using nails or clamps. Hang it somewhere to dry and rub enough salt into it to create a crust, each day scrape off the hide and repeat the process daily until the hide is completely dried out. Don't forget flea and tick spray for the fur as well.
