There's a rattling sound in my motorcycle engine especially when it's idling what could be the problem?

Usually, a rattle at idle means your cam chain is loose. As your engine goes faster the crank shaft pulls on the chain and takes up some of the slack. It's a little difficult to tell from such a short description and not knowing what type of engine.
