How do you convince your grandparents to travel to your house when you live far far away?

There are several tricks that can help with getting them to come over.

1) Guilt: If your parents and grandparents have the right to guilt you into doing the right thing, why should you be unable to return the favor. Convince your grandparents that you miss them and the only right thing for them to do is to come down and visit you.

2) Help Facilitate: Help your grandparent book a plane/train/bus ticket and a hotel room (if necessary). Make it less of a burden on them to find these resources.

3) Provide Other Incentives: Help make your grandparents' favorite food for when they arrive or do their favorite activity with them. Make them want to come over to your house for more than just to say "hi" and leave.
