How do you sign groom in ASL?

There is not a widely acceptable sign for the bridegroom in American Sign Language. It simply is not used much - to quote one deaf person, "I don't know, I don't get married that often." When the Word is required it is often spelled using the finger-spelling alphabet, or a combination like "Male-Wedding" is used.
