When did James f Reynolds make the radio clock?

James F. Reynolds was a great many things! He was a singer, he played instruments, toured Sundays, church-to-church, in a family singing group (13 kids total!) he helped build a traffic light in his small town in northwestern PA, and was an inventor, as history would tell! He invented the alarm clock radio somewhere around the 1940's and lived to see it thrive well into the early 2000's until his death.
