Can you take rose hip powder when pregnant?

Rose hip is traditionally used to help women prepare for child birth. It helps the uterus strengthen for contractions. I drank heaps of Rosehip tea through both of my pegnancies and both children are fine. I can't see why it would be much difference from powder to tea except maybe potent they are.
