Who holds the mind stone?

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Mind Stone is initially held by the Asgardians in the form of the Tesseract. Later, it is revealed to be embedded in the forehead of Vision, a synthetic being created from the combination of the Mind Stone and other advanced technologies. Ultimately, Thanos acquires the Mind Stone by forcibly extracting it from Vision during the events of "Avengers: Infinity War."
