What is a exponential expression?

An exponential expression is a problem with no answer usually used to answer a question such as, Find the Value ; 2 as a base and 5 as an exponent.; The answer would be 32 because to find the value of an exponent you multiply the number in the base by itself as many times that it says in the exponent.

Ex: 2*2*2*2*2=32
