You can also give her little compliments, like "you did really well on that test yesterday. Good job." But not things like "I like your shirt." That would sound really creepy to me. If you know her pretty well and you think she may like you a little, than you can say something like, "you have really pretty eyes."

When you feel like she might accept, go to a dance the same day as she does. Ask her for a slow dance, and ask her out afterwards. Girls will usually not ask guys out or admit to a guy that they like him, so you have to pay close attention to the girl.
