How do I fix my Atwood trailer jack which is jammed and will not go up or down?

First make sure that the outer tube and the inner tube groove are lined up. Sometimes these jacks get twisted and they are out of alignment. Next if it is a side wind jack then you have to check and make sure the gears are in good working order, they may have to be replaced.
