Maximum effective range of a 82mm mortar?

82mm is a caliber used by the former Soviet Union and client states, and there's a number of different types. The max range of the 2B14 Podnos is 4020 metres, while the 2B9 Vasilek has a maximum range of 4720 metres. Bear in mind, we're talking about towed systems, rather than units comparable to, say, the 81mm mortars in US service.
