What does it mean if at 35 weeks your doctor says your amniotic fluid is starting to diminish?

MAybe it'e leaking out slowly. You are 35 weeks so if the baby needs to come soon, the chance of survival is great. It could either mean that you have a small leak or that your body is no longer producing any more amniotic fluid. If you have a small hole like my Mom had with me, you should not swim or take a bath because you could easily get some germs there. That is what her doctor told her.
