Australia does not have a tornado season, as such. In Australia, the tornado is not a major damaging weather phenomenon. It occurs relatively infrequently, and only accompanies severe storms. Huge, menacing tornado clouds are not seen.

The most likely time to get a tornado in Australia is during the late Spring and through the summer months (any time from October through to March), particularly along the eastern coast. They have been known to occur in the cooler months in southern Australia.
