It is a hard and dangerous climb for many reason.
one is the extreme altitude there is only 30 pct the oxygen it is over 29,000 ft.
another is the cold temps range from -20 -40
it is a technical climb one step and you can fall over 1 mile !
if a climber gets into trouble there is now way to get them down once past camp 3 no helicopter can fly that high . The ledges in some section are only 6 inches wide on both sides on a 65 degree slope.
over 200 climbers have died on the mountain a lot from fatigue most still visible on the route up.
