Can you pick up a money gram in another state other than where it was sent?

No you cannot. If a State was specified using the Money Gram service you can only pick it up in the State that was specified. However there are some states that do not require you specifying a state to send the money. In those states they only require you specify what country to send the money to, however, you must know if the state the money is being sent to requires that it be specified the money be sent there. In the state of South Carolina and Kentucky you have to specify which state you are sending money to and if you are picking up money in those states the senders have to send the money to those states or you cannot pick up the money. Georgia and Florida are open states, meaning you can just specify the U.S and pick up or receive money in those states. I have no clue at the moment as to the policies of the remaining 46 states.
