Would skittle infused whiskey taste any good?

Yes, I have just made one using all five colours approx 2 medium sized bags per 35cl bottle scotch whiskey, it's heavily skittley with an aftertaste of the scotch.

The above is true, but I think slightly less skittles is much better! I personally find this recipe way too sweet and skittley.
