The Little Jack nugget was found by a gold prospector named Jack Adams in 1931 near the town of Jackass Flat in Western Australia. Weighing approximately 1.5 kilograms (about 3.3 pounds), it was one of the largest gold nuggets discovered during the Australian gold rush era.
