How do you get your parents to give you a cell phone?

you don't. you think about whether you really need one, why you want one. then if you think of a very good reason why you shoud have one, you ask your parents if they are okay with it as long as you are responsible with it. you may come to an agreement that it is a good idea to have one if you buy it or legitimately earn it yourself. if your parents say no, accept it and trust their wisdom. besides, I'm willing to bet they grew up without a cell phone and lived through it.
