Is it ok to shift your motorcycle without using clutch?

The clutch is there for a reason. Why risk damaging something because you don't feel like pulling in the lever for half a second? Not doing it just right can severly limit the gearbox lifespan as well.


Yes, it's possible to not use the clutch, and yes, you will gain time because the engine will have been engaged, but that's only used on a race course, and those transmissions aren't meant to last as long as you would like your transmission to last.
