1928 Kellogg-Briand Pact

The Kelloggâ??Briand Pact of 1928, sponsored by France and the United States, that stated that the signatory states promised not to use war to settle disputes or disagreements that might occur between them. It was signed by Germany, France and the United States on August 27, 1928, and by many more nations soon after.
