What country has the largest area in the eastern hemisphere and covers two continents?

Russia is the largest country in the world, and therefore the largest one

in the eastern hemisphere. It doesn't exactly 'cover' two continents, but

it extends into them, with part of the country in Europe and the remainder

in Asia.
