Is there any connection between heroin use and nautical star tattoos?

It is pretty safe to say that the assumtion is not going to be made today, yet some people who may have thought that in the past may be convinced it does represent drug use.

AnswerI've tattooed for years and unfortunately have seen a few people use a fresh tattoo as an injection site. It "helps" to hide the brusing caused from the needle. The tattoo design doesn't matter per say...but the locations can be pretty obvious. AnswerTattoos used to be utilized to cover the telltale "track marks" on junkies arms and legs.

Lol this is funny cause i have a nautical star tat and i use heroin. Although i do not shoot and i got it before i ever started using.

The tattoo is supposed to be a symbol of protection while your finding your own way through life.
