What is the difference from an msds and a technical data sheet?

A Technical Data Sheet may provide information on how well the product performs its function, how it is to be mixed, diluted, applied, etc. It may provide specific formulation information.

A Material Safety Data Sheet need not provide an exact formula, and will not address how well a product performs its function or how it is to be prepared for use. It will discuss what hazards are associated with use of the product, with a spill or fire, how to dispose of spilled material, what the results of toxicology tests have been, etc.
