Additionally, the fast-paced lifestyle and globalization have shifted cultural preferences away from traditional forms of expression. There is also a lack of exposure and education about folk songs in schools, leading to a diminished appreciation for their cultural significance. As a result, younger generations may not see folk songs as relevant to their lives.
