How do say good morning in Swahili?

You say "good morning" in Swahili with a question: Habari za asubuhi? (what is the news of the morning?) to which one replies nzuri, salama, or one of several other positive answers.

Asubuhi njema means literally "good morning," but it said on parting and is not a greeting.
