Removing dry nail polish from carpet?

As you know this is a very stubborn and messy stain (unlike candle wax) so it's best to have a professional carpet cleaner come up to try and get it out. Be sure you tell them it's a wool rug. If they can't get the spot out then phone a carpet repair place and they can fix it. I had a party once and someone burned a hole in my carpet with a cigarette and said nothing. I got a carpet repair man up and I couldn't believe what a good job he did and you couldn't even tell where the burn was.
