Genesis 6: 1-22 relates the whole story about the relationship between God and Noah. Genesis 6: 12,-14 shows that God looked upon the earth, and it was ruined, then God said to Noah: " I have decided to put and end to all flesh, because the earth is full of violence." So Noah was commissioned to build an ark.

The ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high (133.5mX 22.3mX 13.4m; 437 ft 6 in). X 72 ft 11 in. X 43 ft 9 in.).

It could have had about 0.9 ha (2.2 acres) of floor space. The tree floors plus the wide roof span probably required, in addition to the "compartment" divisions, the use of some wooden columns and beams to support the weight, as well as the structure necessary stability.

Noah's ark was the provision by which forefathers of all mankind survived the global Deluge of 2370-2369 B.C.E

Detailed instructions were given to Noah by Jehovah as to its size, shape, design for light and ventilation, and materials to be used for its construction. Read Genesis 6: 14-16.

So what can we learn from the story of Noah? Matthew 24: 37-41 shows that just as the day of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. etc... People were busy eating and drinking, men marrying etc... Life was great (so to speak) and no one took notice of God's warnings. Read 1 Peter 2: 5

Today our world is full of violence as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 and God's Kingdom will undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done. It will provide: A perfect health for all those who will take the opportunity to listen to Him, like Noah and his family did, peace and securty on earth, and a clean environment, and so much more.

Psalm 37: 29 reads that "the righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it". 1 Timothy 2: 4-6 reads. "God's will is that all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all". As mentioned above as the Son of man.

The lesson that we can learn from Noah is: He listened to God's warnings and in Matthew 6: 9,10 shows that Jesus told us to pray for God's kingdom to come where His will, will take place as in heaven also on earth
