Definitions
- A non-fiction book is one which is a true story and contains facts. As opposed to a made-up novel, which would be fiction.

About the bookA Child Called It tells the true story of Dave Pelzer as he was growing up. He was abused on a daily basis by his mother. It is a very moving book which has captured the hearts of millions and has raised awareness of child abuse at home.
