How do you do the math distibutive property?

Its actually quite easy. just do something like this.

If the problem is... lets say 4(5n-1) [Taken straight off the homework I'm doing now]

it would be

4 x 5n - 4 x 1

I think it as. your Distributing the numbers in the parenthesis. To the number outside the parenthesis.
