For a person who exercises lightly (desk job) 1790 for a 25 year old; 1608 age 55 For moderate activity (blue color worker) 2065.5 age 25; 1854 for a 55 year old. Heavy activity (athletic person) 2340.9 for a 25 year old; 2101.2 for a 55 year old You also need to understand that not everyone is the same and that some people will gain, lose or stay the same on these numbers depending on your metabolism and other factors so you may need to eat more or less then what these numbers say but these numbers are prety close for most people.
