Indeed. She was well educated (being a pupil in Burgundy first and then studying in France.) and took part in religious discussions. She was also thought to have sympathy for the protestant faith, and helped them survive death penalty by her own good will. She was also cunning and ambition, able to hold the king off for more than seven years. She was as well talented in music and language, and often some mistook her as a French woman due to her skill in the language.
