How do you remove the seat on 2000 suzuki vz800?

On the right side of the bike there is an unlatching mechanism. When the passenger foot peg is up it is hidden, but you can find it by flipping the peg down. Simply insert your key and turn it. If the seat doesn't pop up on its own keep the key turned and lift the rear of the seat up.
