A typical day for slaves in Egypt?

Get up at sunrise have a small br4eakfast then start back breaking work, stop for a smoke and get whipped, back breaking toil till lunchtime then a little meal and short rest, back to work stop for a drink of water and get whipped, finish work at sunset and stagger back to the dormitory for a quick meal and fall into bed dead on your feet.
