What do you do before leaving the lab?

Before leaving the lab, I ensure all equipment is properly turned off and cleaned, and I secure any hazardous materials according to safety protocols. I also double-check that all experiments are properly labeled and stored, and I update my lab notebook with any relevant notes or findings from the day. Finally, I make sure the lab is tidy and that I’ve gathered all my personal belongings.
