Millions have been printed in the current series since 1976 so any that you get from a bank are just spending money, that's all. They're uncommon because demand for them is low in most parts of the country, so they don't circulate all that much, and those millions of $2 notes are only a tiny fraction of the billions of other bills in circulation.
