How do you make more than 8 sims?

the only way is through a download, the link i added will bring you to place you need in order to get that download.

if you know how to add downloads into your sims game then great! if not here are some instructions.

you will need to download WinRAR (I also added this link, and it's free) after the program is downloaded go into

My Documents/EA games/The sims 2

then make a new folder and name it "Downloads"

go to the website for the download and save it into the new folder you created. when it is saved go into the folder, right click it and select "Extract here" now you have the mod in your game.

All you have to do is have 7 sims in your family. Then get the mom pregnant and then do forcetwins and bam. You have 9 sims.
