What are flash graphics?

Flash graphics are usually bitmap graphics. Flash graphics or animations carry the .Fla file extention, since they are created with Macromedia Flash, and played with the Flash Player. These animations can be imported to the internet via a HTML page. Most banners on the internet are created in flash, then made into simple .gif animations, since they are less bulky in size and can be seen without the downloading of a flash player.
