The perks of being a flight attendant includes travelling the world for free and at the same time earning a living. You could also have your family (most of the time, immediate) to fly for free or with discounts. The salary of a flight attendant is obviously higher than any other land jobs.

Though it's not an easy job, you have to be awake for longer hours (specially for long haul flights) and that you have stand most of the time assisting the passengers, get ready for an emergency and definitely provide an outmost customer service.

It is a line of job that does not only need beauty but also intelligence, good interpersonal skills or people-skill and patience to hard passengers.
