There are over 5,000 species of ladybugs [Coccinellidae family]. Just about every place on earth has their own native ladybugs. The exceptions are the Antarctic and Arctic regions, where it's too cold. Ladybugs need temperatures at 55 degrees Fahrenheit/12.8 degrees Celsius in order to get around.
