When jonas learns all about colors he claims that nothing has colors why does he say this?

This is linked to the Jonas brothers, but I think you are probably referring to Jonas in the book "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. The main character, Jonas, cannot see color until later in the book when the Giver gives him memories. Jonas does not like that no one else can see color, and sees it as unfair.
