Why doesn't moon light warm you?

Woah. Freaky question.

I always just thought of the moon and the night, as cool, breathless, and quiet....

not like the sun, hot, and happy, and loud...

I thought it was the way things were supposed to be.

But I suppose there's someone out there with a real answer. Scientific and all.
