How many victims died on 9 11?

I looked at a 9/11 research website just now, and they estimated that the overall 9/11 death-toll was about 2,750, so almost nearly 3,000 people killed altogether. This might have been a temporary estimate at the time this site was made or updated so it might have changed. But I think that's pretty close though. To what I can recall at least
